Hi All

A data breach has exposed the names, addresses, social security numbers, and birthdates of more than 237,700 Comcast customers. The actual breach occurred in February 2024 - exposing more than 4.2 millions people. This is not the first time, Comcast disclosed a massive data breach impacting more that 35 million people in December 2023.

To me, this is a case of understanding how the third parties that you deal treat your data. It is clear that FBCS did not take the necessary precautions with the data on its sight (no encryption, etc.).

Most of us understand that specific pieces of data are more sensitive than others and should be treated as such.

Think if I worked for Comcast, I would call for all the legal agreements between us and third parties be reviewed on the handling of such information.
