Where is my personal data bill of Materials(DBoM)

Earlier this week, I introduced concept of DBoM or Data Bill of Material. You might find it interesting and would agree need of it. When we design/build new software systems, we take into account software, hardware, network, storage etc. but do we consider what personal and/or sensitive data is going to be collected ,stored, used and shared in operation of system? Just like #SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) , DBoM will bring transparency, accountability and consumer #trust and will simplify managing personal data throughout system life cycle. @ArdentIt is an interesting process, I would think we would want to automate this as it appears quite onerous to manually populate and keep up to date for an organisation.
