SP 800-53Rev5 (Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations) includes the Privacy Authorization (PA) control family. (Aug 2017 Draft Edition)

It’s missing in 2020 Sep edition, is it renamed with other family name or deleted? Please share if there is any information.

So PA has been re-named PT.

Yes sir.

We also must remember that one of the big differences between Rev 4 and Rev 5 is that Rev 4 was split into two pubs: 1. NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and 2. NIST SP 800-53B.

800-53B are the control baselines which USED TO BE in 800-53 Rev 4.

800-53A Rev 4 (security and privacy control assessments) remains the same except NIST is currently drafting a new 800-53A Rev 5.
