Hi All

It seems under CCPA an IP address attributed to a person especially if it is persistent data is a privacy issue?

However, the debate as to whether an IP address is actually an issue is up for debate again.

It will be interesting to see how these rulings affect/or not the language and standing in GDPR.

Judge Schonfield is spot on in her ratio decidendi "IP addresses and other device-specific information were the types of information digital advertisers and platforms used to compile detailed behavioral profiles of consumers' and therefore in favor of disclosure when weighing the public interest. Is it the right decision? Maybe, in this context.
