That is the general concepts that need for the SSCP and CISSP. ISC2 no longer offers StudISCope which were the practice questions that I used long ago. I have heard good things about Mike Chapple’s materials, both the book and LinkedIn training but have no personal experience with it. I always suggest keeping the exam objectives with you for a constant reminder of what need to know and to identify knowledge gaps. Best wishes.

Hi everyone,
I’d like to ask if anyone can share pointers, study tips, or practice exams for the SSCP. I’ve already taken the exam twice, but unfortunately I haven’t passed yet.

I completed the ISC2 self‑paced training and reviewer, and I passed all the final assessments. However, I noticed that the actual exam feels quite different from the practice questions.

If you have any references, resources, or advice that helped you pass, I’d really appreciate it. I truly want to pass this exam, but I’m feeling a bit discouraged after failing twice.

Thank you in advance for any help or guidance you can share.

@nkeaton I already passed the CC last year. I just found the actual exam more technical than the final assessments questions in the ISC2 self faced training. Can you provide some material links or where can I find the one the you are saying? I'm a little bit discouraged right now considering I already take twice of the exam. Thank you

@psp_08xx Thank you for explaining that. The book should be available at Amazon or wherever purchase books. I am not familiar with LinkedIn training but have had others tell me that it is good. I am not a fan of adaptive exams. What really throws some people off is the 25 beta/pre-test questions in the first 100. They often are things that have not seen before. Since you have a little time before can attempt the exam again, give yourself a little break to think about what you want to do next. I know that is very defeating and need to do what is right for you. Maybe sign up for BrightTalk with your member id and find some ISC2 webinars on subjects related to the SSCP. That way can earn some CPEs for your CC. For me it is helpful to distract myself with things that are not testable. Best wishes.
