You're correct, I am requesting for ISC2 to endorse. I noted down the domains I've worked in. I worry that since I haven't personally seen any Mechanical engineer with cybersecurity experience, it's not typical and would be harder to get endorsed.

Hello,

I passed my CISSP exam back on 7/25 and sent in my application on 7/28. I understand it takes 4-6 weeks to process but I'm worried that I may not get approved or it may get delayed since my background is a little more on the unique side.

I'm a licensed mechanical engineer with most of my experience managing ICS network, end point devices and servers for a utility plant with some experience in front end development. In my field, I don't have anyone that has a CISSP certificate that can validate for me and my previous supervisor had left the company.

I had provided a link to a conference database that showcased my teams work and I can provide references that can vouch for my work. Is there anything I can do to assist with the certification process?

@Ahuang1690 that 4 - 6 weeks seems like forever. I am guessing that you are having ISC2 endorse you. I have not been through that process and guessing that takes longer. As long as you could relate your experience to at least 2 domains, you should be alright.
