Online Proctored CCSP Exam in UAE-Challanges found!

Hi,
I am originally from Canada, and I do remember there was an online examination option when I took my CISSP couple of years back.

I am currently in an assignment in UAE and wanted to take the CCSP exam online this week, but I cannot find a way to find the reservation flow for online examination option and the associated reservation flow on Pearson VUE seems to force me through testing center options only.

Can somebody assist with confirming if I can take the CCSP online in UAE? And if yes what is the exact flow steps to proceed with that, please?

The online option was trialed a couple of times, but it didn't work out. You have to find a test center.

@MEB Globally.

During the C*vid matter, ISC2 tried out remote proctored test globally, but found issues (cheating), and so ended it.

Thus you need to go to a testing center everywhere.

Other orgs do allow remote proctored tests. I know GIAC does. No idea with ISACA, CompTIA, or EC-Council or others.

Strange that they found huge cheating issues specifically in ISC2 exams!
I mean there are lots of other IT exams out there in which brain dumps and direct answers may attract cheaters, but for ISC2-based on my own experience- even open book capability would sometimes be a waste of time given the exam layout and time!

I agree with the others. ISC2 tried a pilot of it twice and for various reasons that involved not being able to protect the integrity of the exam, discontinued the pilots. I believe that most of those were held for audit for further scrutiny. So no one got an answer quickly on whether they had passed or not. I believe that the pilot was only in English, don't remember if there was a country limitation. You can do the CCSK online but is not as well recognized and assumes that have the cybersecurity knowledge. It is the cloud terminology and concepts that will find in the CCSP. CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) helped ISC2 develop their CCSP and ISACA their CCAK. So it is a good starting point. Best wishes.

ISC2 is no longer administrating online exams. All exams are being administered in person at the Pearson Vue testing centers. ISC2 has committed to upholding the validity, and integrity of our exams.

ISC2 exams can only be delivered in an approved Pearson VUE testing center. Not all Pearson VUE testing centers are ISC2 authorized testing centers.
