I just talked to 2 PearsonVUE centers in Qatar and they are saying that are fully operational and conducting other exams regularly. It is an issue with ISC2. Can you please advise about it?

The Pearson VUE Testing Centers in Qatar are no longer part of the ISC2 network.

Unfortunately, this means you will have to travel to another country if you wish to take an ISC2 exam.

The nearest testing centers to Qatar are in Bahrain:

We (I and my friends) booked exam at Qatar. Can ISC2 arrange centers at least for already booked people.

Go and write exam in others countries will give extra burden to us cost, travel, VISA accommodation so on so

Please request ISC2 to arrange exam centers for already booked people.

Currently our exam in unscheduled mode.

I acknowledge your interest in taking a ISC2 exam. Regrettably, testing centers in Qatar are no longer affiliated with ISC2 network and cannot conduct ISC2 exams. Its unfortunate tht you might need to travel abroad to take an exam. The nearest testing centers to Qatar are in Bahrain.

You do realize that a candidate who already booked an exam and purchased the voucher has to bear an additional costs of visa, travel , accommodation.

this exam is getting unnecessary expensive.

any idea when will it re-open in Qatar or possibility of giving the exam online rather than going to a center.

Whats the process of refund if i cant travel ?

Hi,

If no test centre available in Qatar, can you make facilities to write the exam from our home.

Exam cost itself is high and it is not possible again to travel to different country bearing flight, visa and staying cost.

Also, we expect there are many candidates are in Qatar awaiting to write the exam, so it is ISC2 responsibility to arrange a proper centre in Qatar soon.

Please let know when the centre will be available in Qatar again to book for the exams.

This is the question you should be asking. You made a deal with ISC2 to take a particular exam at a particular location and at a particular time. They failed to keep up their end of the bargain. If unable to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time/location, it is only right the deal be cancelled and your money be refunded.

ISC2 employees on this conversation have stated "no longer part of the ISC2 network" [1, 2]. That is public-relations speak for a divorce having taken place. I would not bet my nickel on reconciliation.

Online is pretty much a non-starter due to cheating by your predecessors.

is it stopped in qatar because Qatar stands with Palestine and asking israel terrorist to stop genocide.

Pearson VUE test center is conducting other tests (Microsoft.,etc) in qatar. Only ISC2 tests are not available in qatar.

this seems the only logical answer till the ISC2 doesnt come up and give their official statement on why they have stopped in qatar.

It appears that there are test centers in both Palestine and Israel, undermining your theory that ISC2 is taking a "side" in that conflict.

More likely is that the Qatar Testing center does not meet the security level ISC2 demands. Pearson VUE offers 3 "levels" of testing centers. To my knowledge, ISC2 exams are only offered in the "Professional Centers" that offer vein scanning.

As a ISC2 member i consider this as outrageous. I am planing to take my CISSP concentration exam and I am not willing to travel abroad to do so!!.

We need this to be justified and rectified as soon as possible
