I participated in the pilot when ISC2 asked for volunteers. Me and another friend that have our CISSPs volunteered. We both agreed that it is not an easy exam. If you know the exam objectives (ISC2 calls it an exam outline), then you should be fine.

I took mine a while back.

My test covered a wide variety of topics. So, it was broad in scope.

I recommend using at least two study resources to prepare: one from the ISC2 official curriculum and one from another appoved source, as all the topics you may come across may not be covered in one resource.

One thing to keep in mind is that you will have a number of unscored (beta) questions on your exam. But you will not know which ones they are.

Well, if you are a member of ISC2, you can look at this web page, for example, https://my.isc2.org/s/Member-Resources/Exclusive-Benefits

And, I can see here, for example, that members receive 50% off of Wiley publications.

Wiley/(Sybex) is a respected publisher that publishes IT certification resources.

There are other respected publishers as well, such as McGraw Hill. It also carries a resource for the CC exam, at the time of this writing.

@jopro42 Are you talking about the additional references? When the site comes back up, look for references. All certifications will be listed; so select CC.
