No, For CISSP experience has to be in the form of paid work experience(unpaid Internship counts too) in one of the eight domains.

A qualifying degree counts as a year of experience, but no more.

Hi,

Hopefully posting in the right place. I'm looking into working towards the CISSP and can see it requires a minimum of five years in two or more domains. It also mentions a four year degree can be used to contribute to one of those years.

I've worked as an IAM engineer for around 7~ years which will definitely cover the IAM domain and I think probably parts of others. I also studied computer forensics and network security for my university degree which I think would cover parts of various domains too - am I right in thinking I can use my degree experience as proof of experience in domains other than IAM?

Thanks in advance!
