i have taken the is ISC2 "Self-based training course" and i am just wondering if it is different from the online Instructor-led course? do I need to take Instructor-led course? thank you.

Yes, they are different. A self-based training course is one that is automatic, usually composed of videos, webpages you read (or are read to you), and quizzes. There is not someone presenting the course to you.
