Great idea.

I found the online CC quizzes available on the ISC2 website unbelievably easy and cannot fathom that being relatively close to any realistic exam question. I think practicing online quizzes may help. I took Mike Chapple's LinkedIn course and currently taking Thor Pederson's course. I find Thor's course to be an overkill but I found Mike's course to not have enough substance to pass the exam. I had to convince my self to go through Thor's course..... still trying to finish it..

I am trying to strike a balance. I have decided to take all thee LinkedIn practice exams. First completing them per domain as one has the option to customize the exams. There are four exams available.

The only other one I have taken are on Udemy -Master the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity 2026 (CC) Domains and pass on the first attempt! by Paulo Carreira on Udemy and Andree Miranda. I did take the final combined domain at the end. I also made sure to read the reviews.

In taking the practice tests, I discovered some concepts that never came up in either course or even in Mike Chapple's study guide.. I have scheduled my exam and I hope to do well. I can't wait to get it over with.
I get access to LinkedIn Learning and Udemy through my local library.

I have my exam scheduled in the next two weeks, so it's crunch time for me.

Once you attempt an all domain test, you'll be able to see your weakest domain and focus on improving.

Praibh Nair's youtube videos have also been very helpful. Quizlet also has some good sets.

Happy studying everyone and good luck.

@mdouble2 It is good that you are making sure that you are prepared. I know people that have successfully used Mike Chapple’s book but not his training. Thor’s training is a very good resource as is Luke Ahmed’s. Just make sure that you know what is in the exam objectives as is what are expected to know for the exam. You can also use them for knowledge gap analysis. Prabh is a great resource but more for CISSP as hits advanced topics. Something that gets some people very frustrated during the exam is that did not notice in research of the exam that 25 of the first 100 questions will be beta/pre-test and may have not seen anything on them previously. That overwhelms some if not expecting it during the exam. You are preparing yourself well. Best wishes.

A little background about me. I am not a novice to IT. I have a BSC in Information Management Systems with a minor in Business Administration and an MBA in Management. I have also worked in IT for decades. It is within the last year that my interest to pivot into cybersecurity grew hence the need to take ISC2 CC.

I am also not new to taking certification exams. I have taken other exams intermediate in nature where the questions were just eight and still ended up in the 90% percentile. ITIL intermediate exams are like that.

My approach of taking exams is to go by the official syllabus detailing what is expected knowledge in each domain. I also know which domain carries more weight. I also know that some questions will be beta. It's typical of certification bodies to test out question sets with actual exams. This is I thought was common knowledge, I may have been mistaken.

I may have not taken exams in a while but my approach of taking bite size learning and testing often always seems to cement concepts for me. It has worked for me all through my educational experience.

Praibh Nair actually has a dedicated Playlist specifically for ISC2 CC and that was where my focus was on his channel. The only other I video I watched on his channel is the one soley on ISC2 ethics which is applicable to all ISC2 exams.

Best wishes to you as well.
