The CISSP Sybex Study Guide is designed to cover each of the eight CISSP Common Body Knowledge domains in sufficient depth to provide students with a clear understanding of the material. The main body of the book comprises 21 chapters. The domain/chapter breakdown is as follows:

Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4: Security and Risk Management

Chapter 5: Asset Security

Chapter 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10: Security Architecture and Engineering

Chapters 11 and 12: Communication and Network Security

Chapters 13 and 14: Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Chapter 15: Security Assessment and Testing

Chapters 16, 17, 18, and 19: Security Operations

Chapter 20 and 21: Software Development

Students may view the table of contents and chapter introductions for a detailed list of domain topics covered in each chapter.
