Just to notify you that the (ISC)2 WA Chapter will host a Chapter meeting on THURSDAY 28th October 2021

Date: 28th October 2021 (THURSDAY)

Time: From 16:30 - 18:30 (and networking afterwards)

Location: Upstairs "Restaurant Section" at the Grand Bar & Bistro, 150B St. Georges Tce, Perth WA 6000 - however will held virtually if WA COVID-19 lockdown restrictions remain.

Talks: 2 x Information Sessions.

Approximate Agenda:

16:30 - 16:45: Arrival, sign-in & drinks.

16:45 - 17:00: Chapter announcements and new business (if any).

17:00 - 17:25: Information Session presented by @jchen – "An anomalies-based approach to detection"

17:25 - 18:15: Information Session presented by @StanB – "Demystifying Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): what it is, what it replaces, approaches, catches and other gotcha's"

18:15 - 18:30: Housekeeping, wrap-up, migrate to main bar, followed by networking.
