Beginning a new Career: Advice & Guidance

Hi all,

I'm looking for some guidance. To be frank, I'm getting older, I never knew what I wanted to do when I was younger, I'm tired of my job, and I want to focus on a career path. I've been scouring a few web pages and looking into Cyber security as a career and it seems interesting; I love computers and theres a need for this type of work. I don't have much experience and I've only received an associate's degree in general studies. So posting here seeking advice for where I should start. Like should I go back to school? Do I absolutely need a degree? Which certifications should I go after? Any constructive help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

Career change is always a big step and i would just say go for it you don't know until try.

Advice i would give try to find some work experience / volunteer work it the area you are interested in.

ISC CC self paced online course would be a good stepping stone to start you on your journey.
