Yes, yes I know, this is another "asking for a friend" post. This friend has thirty years of background as a systems analyst. He's an RPG programmer technically, and is quite adept at learning / leveraging other languages. With my CISSP came membership with (ISC)², and from there I joined ISACA and ISSA. In my friend's case, he's a talented programmer but has no professional industry memberships.

I would like to point him toward some industry groups. He's looking for remote work opportunities, or opportunities to network with groups.
