IT MindFinders is conducting a search for a Security and Risk Specialist on behalf of PRIMECorp located in Burnaby, BC.

PRIMECorp is the organization that owns and operates the PRIME-BC information management system that police across British Columbia use to access data and other critical information that helps them in their public safety mandates. The Security and Risk Specialist coordinates and oversees the work of project teams, and acts as the subject matter expert in:

monitoring underlying technologies of PRIME-BC systems within British Columbia from the security perspective;
identifying threats to the system and providing risk and impact assessments; and
conducting investigations of security breaches.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer information technology, information security, management information systems, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline, and certification in information security or equivalent, plus considerable related experience, preferably in the area of law enforcement; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
