Hello

I am nearing retirement in my current job. I have been in IT for 30 years, mainly as a programmer with some management and PM work. I have cerebral palsy. Currently, I process a CSSLP, CRISC, and CIPT.

I have heard that the Feds are good about hiring the handicapped. And, I am hoping that would carry over to contractors working for the Feds. Other then USAJOB.GOV, I do not know how to begin to find opportunities.

Could somebody point help me know how to start?

Thank you,

With DoD set to impose new certification requirements on the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) you are in the right market with the right credentials, especially having a CSSLP. DIB partners will be looking to consultants to help implement and measure their cybersecurity maturity. I'd suggest "marketing" your skills to those third-party consultants.
