    <description>&lt;P&gt;BlueWave is looking for a IT/ Cyber Security Engineer to join a global simulation company who will be&amp;nbsp;responsible for the execution and management of multiple IT/ Cyber Security projects and resources. This position will have responsibility for the expansion of the&amp;nbsp;IT/ Cyber program in the DOD and DOE sectors. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work this candidate will perform and the information he/she will be responsible for within the company's facility, U.S. citizenship is required.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Managing, maintaining, and evolving the&amp;nbsp;IT system architecture and design&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Anticipating and evaluating the threats and vulnerabilities associated with ICS introduced by emergent technologies&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Communicating threats and concerns at an executive level in a clear, concise manner&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Identification, authentications, and authorization&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Network/Security Management&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;STIGs&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;A&amp;amp;A documentation&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Interfaces with customer and government security auditors&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Requirements:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Minimum Education: BS degree in Computer Science or related disciplines&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Experience in IT engineering, system security analysis, and/or network operations with at least 10 years (flexible)&amp;nbsp;of recent experience in security related development is desired&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Experience in information assurance and system level certification and accreditation, network design, and network management is preferred.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Strong research capabilities&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Proven ability to work independently and as a team member&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Strong communications (written and oral), and interpersonal skills&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Detail oriented&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The ability to multi-task with good time-management skills&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Strong organizational and leadership skills&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Must have supported cyber projects in either NERC/CIP, US DOD, or DOE Nuclear environments&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Intimately familiar with the current US NRC Interpretations of the current Cyber Security guidance (a plus)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Intimately familiar with NIST special publication 800-171 (a plus)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Certifications for one or more of the following: MSCE, CAP; C/EH; INL; CISSP (preferred); CISM; CISA; GIAC Computer Forensics; GIAC Firewalls; Perimeter Protection; GIAC GCIH Incident Handling &amp;amp; Malicious Code; GIAC GSEC SANs Security Essentials, NETWORK+; SECURITY+&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4" color="#FF0000"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;To apply, please email your resume to alex@bluewaverp.com&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
