    <description>&lt;P&gt;The Workers Compensation Board of Alberta is looking to fill a senior security analyst position in their Edmonton office.&amp;nbsp; The successful candidate would have at least seven years experience as a security analyst including several years of security architecture/design work. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The team is currently made up of eight security team members for a 2000 staff organization.&amp;nbsp; Daily responsibilities would include working with both Information Management and other departments to develop and implement security solutions for projects, creating security standards &amp;amp; guidelines for the organization, leading our (existing) Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and developing response processes for our Security Operations Center (SOC) team.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Preference for this position will be given to applicants with a strong SQL background, but the position is open to all who meet the requirements.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The position is full time / permanent without travel requirements.&amp;nbsp; We offer a competitive a compensation package including an excellent dental/wellness benefits package, flexible work hours, onsite massage / gym and a yearly training budget that allows staff to attend major conferences.&amp;nbsp; On call time is a requirement for this position; however, it is shared among five other analysts (one person on call at a time) and you are compensated for your time while you are on call.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
