Hi,

Since CCSP is a vendor agnostic exam, do we still need to memorize the names of vendor specific services and functions that are mentioned throughout the study guide?

It is good to understand the differences across the vendor implementation,
it is not required to memorize.

From what I saw in the (ISC)2 CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional Official Study Guide, 3rd Edition, the vendor specifc functions/services are used as examples for the concepts being presented and which the exam is built on. Any items (questions) my team come across that are vendor specific are sent back to our volunteer SMEs to revise. Mention of specific operating systems/platforms/services are not allowed in any of our items, regardless of the certification.
