It is certainly a happy weekend for me. Glad to share that I provisionally passed the exam this afternoon. This one is special unlike other ISC2 certifications prepared with bootcamps. This time the preparation was completely based on the CBK material (read cover-to-cover once). Though, I subscribed for self-paced learning materials; I kept it for secondary reference if I had failed in the first attempt (availed Peace Of Mind Protection).

Next is to spend more time on threat modelling and related material reference in CBK, which is available towards the end of the book after chapter 8. 🙂

Congratulations. It is definitely one of the lesser known certifications. I have a few of their lesser known ones as well, not this one and not really looking at it. I am studying architecture now and considering attempting the ISSAP. It definitely helps to be good at self-study for these. As always the endorsement will seem like forever, but the tough part is over. Don't forget to celebrate.

Thank you!
I assume you're a CISSP.
All is suggest is to read through the CBK/official guide cover to cover.
Solve the questions at the end of each chapter. You should be good to go!
