I am from Canada. I am preparing for CSSLP and I have book of 2nd edition 2013 CBK. Any other suggestion would welcome for helping me in preparation.

I passed this one on late last year. I would say the CBK is enough and consider you are the security product manager would definitely help on answering the questions. Just ping me if you stuck on some area and I hope maybe I could help.

I have received CSSLP Official (ISC)2 Student Guide 5th Edition and I have studied this book thoroughly. Could you please let me know if this material alone would be enough to pass the exam? I have 5 years of Application Security testing experience.

Hi @Rohit_CSSLP

For me, I had not read through the whole book neither in CBK or the student guide. For my experience, I think on of the most important things should be you should change your mindset to being a project/product manager and think about the problem in risk dimension. As always, engineers could easily and directly to fix the problem, however, in risk dimension, we are not going to fix the single issue but need to think about how to mitigate the root cause of the problem. I think such mindset changing takes most of the time on study.

I noticed that you mention a "CSSLP Official (ISC)2 Student Guide 5th Edition" as something that you have in your possession.

I am only able to find a second edition of the official CSSLP book as shown below:

"Official (ISC)2 Guide to the CSSLP CBK ((ISC)2 Press) 2nd Edition"

on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Official-Guide-CSSLP-Second-Edition/dp/1466571276).

I am ready to buy the book, but now I am wondering which edition of the ISC2 official CSSLP book is the latest one. Could you please let me know where you got this 5th edition that you are talking about?

Would you be able to share a link to a webpage when I can find the book you you have?

Is this book you are talking about, really for CSSLP, or is that a typographical error?

@Viv94 I found the All-in-One, second edition sufficient. That book includes online practice questions on Totalsem. There is now a third edition available:

Hopefully you will not get any cooperation. Sending a PDF of copyrighted material is a form of piracy, which in addition to being against the law is a violation the Code of Ethics and can get one's certifications permanently stripped.
