Recently Passed CISSP

Hi (ISC)(ISC) members,

I have a question about the endorsment process, I recently passed Friday July 12, 2019, but I haven't gotten any email nor feedback besides the test paper for pearson vue advising I pass the exam. Today (Saturday 13, 2019) I had my coworker already endorsed me and I documented my experience and supported the work experience with W2 forms. I went to submit, but the website advised I need to take the exam, Should i be concerned?

Congrats on your pass!

No need to be concerned, you just need to wait until you get your official email which can take up to 5 business days to be sent.

A short while after you have that, you'll be able to submit your endorsement application without error - then the wait begins which I actually find the hardest part!

Just a heads up for you... Don't believe the email you'll receive after submitting your endorsement application if it says the process will take 4 weeks - the endorsement queue is currently running very close to 8 weeks.

Somewhat concerned, but not overly. Sounds very much like a known problem,
related to a recent "upgrade" (don't you, as a security person, *hate* "upgrades"?),
which has been experienced by a number of people in a variety of ways.

The weekend will not be kind to you.

The problem *may* resolve. (Some mentions indicate a July 15 date.)

However, best to be proactive. Member support is fairly busy at the moment, but
you might also contact any or all (I recommend all) of avance@isc2.org,
community@isc2.org, jshriver@isc2.org, keagle@isc2.org, and/or
soconnor@isc2.org in hopes they can/will get your problem to the right person.

Congratulations on Passing! Trust me I know the feeling of passing and not getting any responses. I passed in May and was endorsed + got my digital cert last week, they say it takes about 8 weeks.
