I don’t personally know any CISSPs except for the many connections I have on linkedin.I would feel weird requesting anyone to sponsor me as well that was not parallel within my work environment(s).

My last company had a policy requiring all employees to direct reference requests to HR. HR were the only ones that could provide information regarding a current or past employee. I also worked for several different people under the same role so may add a layer of confusion.

Will HR and my job description from the applicable roles be enough to satisfy this? If not, should I seek a statement or letter from them confirming my roles and associated / related BOK were my responsibilities?
